Soleil Corazón-Libre is a contemporary artist working with gouache, acrylic, graffiti, found materials, airbrush, and watercolor to unify the theoretical practices of Material Culture, Color, and Qui in her abstract paintings.

Her continual research explores Art Criticism, Art Theory, Education Theory, Childhood Development, Adolescent Development, and Integrative Medicine & Psychiatry. She’s interested in actualizing Preventative Care for the disease and disability known as Bipolar 1. Corazon-Libre’s developing theory, Open Sensory Gene Theory, postulates that there is a DNA sequence that identifies if a person has Open Sensory Genes; meaning: there is a DNA sequence that identifies if a person is genetically predisposed to experience an unceasing simultaneity of: mercuriality, sensitivity, incessant & alacritous inspiration, ontological curiosity, zenith emotions and cognitive abstraction, both in perception and expression.

When infant OSG carriers receive the sustained childcare, education and medical care congruent to their anatomical needs across their lifetime as they grow and evolve into adolescents and adults, they can develop and mature across their lifespan totally healthy and able.

When infant OSG carriers do not and cannot receive the sustained childcare, education and medical care congruent to their anatomical needs across their lifetime as they grow and evolve into adolescents and adults, their genetically predisposed OSG experience can disorder into the disease and disability known as Bipolar 1.

Corazón-Libre is developing a pedagogy to support OSG carriers and OSG carriers’ Parents, Families and Teachers. This pedagogy will educate what OSG congruent medical care and education is, and how to nurture its theory & practice at home and in the classroom.
